If you want to complete the race with another participant who is not in your age group (mom, brother, friend, etc.), the Buddy Wave is for you. This will be the last wave of the race. Buddy Wave participants will not be eligible for awards or age group placements but will receive a finisher’s medal and an official time.
If you’re new to the sport and want to start with our other first-time triathletes, join us in our brand new First Timer Wave. This will be the second to last wave. First Timer Wave participants will not be eligible for awards or age group placement but will receive a finisher’s medal and an official time.
Participants have the option to enter the super sprint or sprint distance relay team, consisting of 2–3 people. You can choose which person will complete each specific discipline. Team members share a single timing chip, which is passed from one team member to another in transition.
NEW! Mixed Relay Teams
Comprised of 4 participants, each completes a super sprint one right after the other. One team member will complete the super sprint triathlon course (swim, bike, run) before tagging the next team member who will then complete the super sprint course and so on until the fourth team member crosses the finish line. Timing begins when the first team member begins the swim and ends when the last team member crosses the finish line! Team members share a single timing chip, which is passed from one team member to another in transition.
